Hello there. This is where i attempt to try and make things. ......... because i have small delicate angel hands that are perfectly meant for homemaking. I am hopeless when it comes to all things sewing so this should be interesting. This blog may be used for more than just sewing projects, because well, that is my life.
This little video should give you a quick introduction to my life. I am crazy about my dogs. I have one yellow lab who is going to take over the world one of these days. Have a look.
I know what you are thinking about this. It sends shivers down the spines of even the most innocent. My dog, Ginger, is going to be a hysterical dictator soon. No doubt about it. ... Now, to give you a look at my golden retriever, Charlie.
D'awwwwww. Sir Charleston Chew. Charles Xavier. Charizard. Charles DeMar. Charmiser. Call him what you will. He's got about a thousand nicknames.
okay
Now to get onto what i originally imagined for this blog. S E W I N G.
My mom and her twin decided to make a quilt for my aunt's wedding in April, and naturally, I decided to get a move on and help out. Not a single sewing bone in my body, my skills were put to the test. (The only background i have in sewing is some class i took my senior year in high school.. but even then, i basically cheated off my friend who was way more in line than I.) All i had to do was sew in a straight line.
I should hope i did alright, because my mom made it vital for me to know that it was SUUUUPER important to stay right on the line. I probably did about six of these little squares but the pressure was too much and i had to call it quits.
Anyway, it will be quite interesting to see what happens with future projects. Wish me all the best.
So long and thanks for all the fish!
